Dabangg 3 Movie Review : Salman Khan packs in punches and blows in this masala entertainer

The report further suggests that the collection of 'Dabangg 3' has taken a hit due to the ongoing unrest throughout the country due to the CAA protests. Even though the first day collections have been good, the film was expected to open to bigger numbers due to expectations and the franchise value of the film.

While the film which marks the debut of Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter Saiee in Bollywood and Sonakshi reprising her popular character of Rajjo from the previous instalments, the collections of 'Dabangg 3' aren't that bad giving the situation across many cities.

The film has been doing a good business in many cities but it looks to have failed in impressing the audience of Delhi, Punjab and Kolkata regions due to its South film feel. While the first instalment on 'Dabangg' was a really huge hit in Northern region due to its raw factor, the latest one is more inclined towards South.
The unrest in the country due to the various protests against the CAA and the NRC coupled with Section 144, has reportedly lead to an estimated 15-20% loss of business for 'Dabangg 3'. Had the conditions in the state been more favourable, the early estimates report claims that the film could have looked at an opening of over 30 crore nett.

Films like Prabhas' 'Saaho' and Akshay Kumar
's 'Housefull 4' have managed to excel at the box office during their first weekend, Salman's 'Dabangg 3' is also expected to go on the same route. But the external factors are sure to play a major role in the film's turn around in the domestic circuit.

Salman's 'Dabangg 3' has now become the second-best non-holiday opening of the year after Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor action-thriller 'Saaho' which had opened at Rs 25.82 crore with Rs 8.27 crore coming from advance bookings.

Helmed by Prabhu deva, the film also brings back the lively character of Arbaaz Khan from the previous instalments. South superstar Kiccha
Sudeeph has also been roped in to play the main antagonist in the film.
